Texas State Capitol in Austin

  • Are there any tours of the Texas State Capitol?

    The Texas State Capitol provides free tours for groups and individuals Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and Sunday - 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tours take visitors to important areas of the Capitol and offer information on Texas history, the Texas legislature and the building, itself. Call 512.305.8402 to make a reservation.

    The Texas State Capital offers a pair of great dining venues, including The Capitol Grill, open Monday through Friday - 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy delicious eats and learn about the Lone Star State at The Story of Texas Café, open Monday through Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
